Founding Story
The company was founded by Noel and John Turner who were raised in a small fishing town in New Zealand. They grew up to work in the fishing industry when one day they heard scientific reports of the health benefits contained in greenlip muscles. They began farming the muscles but the demand was low due to research and investment.

As an alternative, the two decided to market the muscles to the food industry as high-end shell fish. They marketed the greenlip muscle under the KIWICLAMS brand and sold their first container to the United States in 1982. In 1985, Noel Turner moved to the United States to market the brand and proceeded to visit over 20,000 restaurants and hotels in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Asia. Today, the two men run the Moxxor company.
