Founding Story
Boisset ( www.mlmlegal.com ) was founded in 1961 by Jean-Claude Boisset. He went into the wine industry at age 18 and three years later cleared a parcel of land in Gevrey-Chambertin: Les Evocelles with his father.

Between 1970 and 1979, his turnover doubled, hitting ten million francs, from foreign and domestic sales. Between 1980 and 1989 the company hit 200 million francs and in “1985, Jean-Claude Boisset was the first ever négociant-éleveur in France to go public on the stock exchange.” By the 1990s, the brand was well developed. As of today, Boisset continues to strengthen its brand in the United States and Canada.
